For your Band / DJ / Musicians...
Your emcee/DJ sets the complete tone for your event. You want someone engaging that is good at reading your crowd. These skill sets will be vital in ensuring your guests get to experience each special moment with you from your first dance to your cake cutting and once the dance floor is open, keep the crowd going all night long.
Have you had experience in weddings? How many have you played at?
Do you have any formal training?
Can we see one of your gigs or get an audio demo?
Do you have the appropriate music and variety for our functions?
Do you have a playlist that you typically use for weddings?
What size is your music library?
Can we pass on a list of songs we do and don’t want played?
Are you capable of acting as an emcee? Have you done so before?
What will you be wearing?
What equipment do you provide and how long do you need to set it up?
Can you work with a band/DJ?
Do you offer Lighting? What Kind?
Do you let us use a microphone for speeches? Is it wireless?
What are your additional charges (i.e travel and overtime)?
How much space do you need? What are your power needs?
Do you have background music for dinner?
Do you require break times? If so, how long and how many?
Do you offer extended packages for the ceremony and/or cocktail music?
Can you accommodate special song requests from guests?
Do you set up a sign or banner with your equipment?
